RMS Titanic

I am fascinated by history and this marks the 99th anniversary of the Titanic‘s sinking. We’ve all seen the James Cameron film at least once, but I was fascinated when Bob Ballard found it in 1986. So, I was rooting around the internet and found out that someone had posted a menu from the first class dining room. They had a ten course meal that would make many today blush at the decadence of it.

Titanic expedition

A team of scientists is headed toward the most famous shipwreck to yet again photograph and document Titanic. The purpose of this expedition is to create enough footage from which to create a 3D map of the wreckage, thereby “raising the Titanic” for the public. I’m sorry, but a map is still a map, as cool as it will be to see it upon completion, it is not the same as raising the ship.
