I started using Hootsuite about a week ago to better manage my Twitter and Facebook accounts. Even after only one week I am really stoked with the results. Twitter is actually useful now. I’m not missing interesting news stories and other nuggets of info which I missed before because I could only be logged into one account at a time. I can see myself making a lot of use of Hootsuite.

I had a friend go see the Facebook movie that opened this past weekend. How did I find out? He posted it as a status update on his Facebook profile. And how did he let his wife know where they were going for the evening? That’s right, he created an event and sent her an invitation.

Is anyone planning on going to see the new Facebook movie coming out this week? I know we’re all addicted to Facebook, but do we really want to know the seedy details of its creators? I have enough issues in my own life to keep myself entertained, I don’t need to watch someone else’s.

How starved are we for entertainment and original stories that we’re making movies examining the origins of a social network site. Facebook is extremely popular, but does it really need an origin movie? I can’t begin to imagine how they will make this interesting.
