OK, I’ll get off this whole board game thing after this. I had a dungeons and dragons style board game from Milton Bradley called Hero Quest. It used a pre-defined board and the quest book used cardboard cutouts to simulate rooms, furniture, etc. I had a group of three friends where we’d get together on a Friday afternoon, order a Bigfoot pizza from Pizza Hut and play until well into the evening. It was some good times right there.

I find this absolutely hilarious. There was a board game released in the 1970s that gave players a chance to hypothetically dig for oil off coasts. There were a set of hazard cards that randomly assigned various problems a player could bet stuck with. My only question is why didn’t the current execs of BP play this game so they could know what might happen?
