If there is nothing that bugs me more is the “free passes” celebrities get. Take for instance Lindsay Lohan, how many chances has this girl gotten and she continues to get away with crap. If it were a regular person we would be sitting locked up in jail right now. This girl has no shame. Last thing I read is that she has not been doing the community service she was required to do. I really hope the judges throw the book at her and send her to jail.
I really hope that the news doesnt contain anymore junk about celebrities who keep ruining their own lives. I am going to keep on with my business and change the change the channel when crap like this comes on t.v

I was watching the sports channel and the sports reporters got into the argument about sports players going and giving publicity or support to their girlfriends. It all started because Jay Cutler was in The Dancing with the Stars audience supporting his girlfriend Kristen Cavalleri.
I personally think there is nothing wrong with a coupl supporting each others career but if the relationship starts affecting either ones work then thats a problem. Tony Romo was a perfect example. It seems that his relationship with Jessica Simpson was a distraction. In cases wherethe player is too distracted by his new romance he needs to take a step back and see what is more important. I do not and would not want to support a player who cant separate his private life from his public one.
What is your opinion when it comes to sports player dating high profile women?

Many of my girlfriends are watching Dancing with the Stars. I must admit I caught the first half hour of the show and was feeling a little bit bored. I dont know if they are lacking talent or people wanting to do the show. I was certainly not impressed with the cast they have picked this season.
I can’t wait til The new Hawaii 5-0 starts. I like the new Hawaii 5-0 because it reminds me of when I was growing up. I remember hearing the theme song on the t.v while I played with little army men. It funny how theme songs can trigger childhood memories.

There’s a movement in Pakistan to introduce a culturally relevant version of Sesame Street to the children of Pakistan. Culturally relevant means that the show will take place in a village rather than a New York sub-division. The hope is that this will have a long term effect of curtailing extremist views. I think it’s a fantastic idea. I watched Sesame Street until I was ten, not necessarily for the education aspect, obviously, but the entertainment value was such that it was a better alternative to what other shows had at the time.

I just recently started watching old seasons of the Office via Netflix. The reason I wait is to make sure the show is going to be around for awhile. If the show sticks around, then I play catch up via DVD or Netflix. Initially, I hated the show because it centered on the idiotic boss. I’m not the biggest fan of watching people blindly embarass themselves. I did find myself watching for the storyline of the receptionist and the pranks played on the office brown-noser.

I, like many of you, have been watching the Flintstones for as long as I can remember. I was surprised to see that the Flintstones first aired on Sept. 30, fifty years ago. And what’s more, they were originally a primetime TV show. That’s right. They were the original Simpsons.

I’m a huge fan of the Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel. Now, I’ve started watching it’s sister, Swords. This show follows marlin fishermen in the North Atlantic. The boats are smaller which makes for a greater potential for drama between captain and crew. I’m just not a fan of marlins as fish; I think they’re somewhat ugly.

I just got to daydreaming and wondered what the most annoying TV commercials are at this point.
- The Caveman Geico commercials ( I do like the gecko and the Deadliest Catch boys)
- The hip-hop hamsters
- The legitimate Cash4Gold commercials (not the celebrity parody ones)
- Honorable mention: The Old Navy commercials with that old lady that looked like Dame Edna
What are some of your most annoying commercials?

I don’t usually watch CSI: New York; I got hooked on the original set in Vegas. But I heard that one of the NY cast members has announced her departure. So, the only question is how will she leave? CSI has a history of letting their core cast members go in definite fashion. Will this character be killed? Will she suffer some horrendous act that forces her to question her career and leave the lab? Cause it doesn’t usually happen in this franchise that someone just goes out for vacation or a transfer to another department.

I watched last night’s episode of Deadliest Catch and it was hard to watch the inevitable come to pass. I knew Phil had died during the winter crab season, and I wondered if it was caught on tape and whether it would be mentioned or documented. When this season started, I heard a sound bite that told me I was going to see. Ever since the show’s season started, I’ve been watching with a different perspective, know what is coming while at the time they were filmed, the other captains didn’t. It’s a surreal experience to watch.
