I have been wanting to go to the movies. I have noticed that alot of the movies that are coming out are made in 3d. How do you feel about that? I wouldn’t mind if the 3d movies cost the same as the other movies but I just find it to be a rip off. Why go and watch a movie in 3d in the movie theater but when it comes out it’s in regular t.v version.
Maybe its just me who is soo annoyed by the little threaters that are charging an arm and a leg for their 3d movies. I am personally going to stick to the regular version of movies.

Nothing disgusts me more than public displays of affection. I dont mind a little kissing but when people start groping each other and doing everything but getting naked, I feel like that should be something that need to be done privately. I went to the movies the other night and the couple sitted in front of me might as well not have paid for the movie and stayed at home. Things got so hot and heavy with them that if the other person by me hadn’t complained to management I would have.
How do you feel about Public displays of affection? What do you consider to be too much displays of affection.

There is a new movie coming out called “30 minutes or less” and it’s about a guy who gets strapped with a bomb and is told to rob a bank. I personally dont find that funny as it reminds me of Brian Wells who was strapped with a bomb and got blown to pieces on live t.v. I know the movie is meant to be funny but how funny is it when its something that actually happened in real life?
I know some people wont take it that serious and I know it is meant as a comedy but I really dont see the humor in it. Maybe I might have to go and actually see the movie and then give my take on it.

I’m a big fan of Pixar films. There are very few movies from Pixar I haven’t seen, and none that I’ve disliked. One of their more recent offerings, Up, was about an elderly widower who flies his house to South America using helium filled balloons to get his house off the ground. I always thought it was a completely illogical concept until I saw this article. I guess a few scientists and engineers got together to see if lifting a house with balloons is possible.

Did you ever think that a Christmas movie could give you insights into your personality? The people at Newsweek abviously think so. They put together this mini-Rohrshach test based on your preference. So, if you like The Grinch, you have this type of attitude. They only included 6 movies, and with all the movies out there, I think it would be an interesting experiment to analyze all of them.

I love science fiction movies and consider myself to be a bit knowledgeable when it comes to the genre, but after reading some of the entries on a list compiled by MSN, I may have to rethink that. They recently listed the 50 greatest scf-fi films, and most of the bottom are obscure movies from the ’50s and ’60s. I’ll spare you some suspense, Blade Runner is number 1 and 2001 is number 2. I’ve seen both movies, but I believe 2001 needs to be number 1. I can remember the first time I sat and watched the entire thing from beginning to end. I sat still in my chair after the movie ended trying to understand what I had just seen. When I finally realized it, I was overwhelmed with how the movie protrayed sophisticated ideas with minimum dialogue.

I was a late arrival to the Hangover band wagon. I didn’t see it in the theaters, and my first viewing on DVD didn’t yield too many laughs from me. My wife on the other hand loved it. So, when I heard they were making a sequel, I kept informed for her benefit. I was surprised to see Mel Gibson had been considered for a cameo, and the details revealed in an interview with the director are interesting.

Why does every movie all of a sudden need to be one of those 3D movies? The only movies that really deserve this are those with really interesting visual effects. I hate to admit it, but the movie Avatar deserved the 3D treatment. Most of the others released since then is nothing more than an attempt to cash in on an old fad.

For those who think George Lucas is all about the art instead of the money, read this. Lucasfilm is planning on releasing his magnum opus, the Star Wars saga, in 3D starting with episode 1 in 2012. Each year will see the next movie in line released as long as the people line up to see it. How many more versions of these movies do we need?

Is anyone planning on going to see the new Facebook movie coming out this week? I know we’re all addicted to Facebook, but do we really want to know the seedy details of its creators? I have enough issues in my own life to keep myself entertained, I don’t need to watch someone else’s.
