Doctors Now Wear Clogs

Posted on February 7th, 2010 by admin

So I had to take Wyatt to the doctor for his 3 year check up. The doc walked in wearing a pair of clogs. Now, these were professional clogs; mind you – but still, she was wearing clogs! Apparently they are very comfortable. She looked nice in them too!

Oh My Back

Posted on January 9th, 2010 by admin

Well, 2010 sure did ‘bring it’ like I said it should! I’ve been having back pain since, oh, September but a fall down my stairs last week got me to the doctor, which led to an MRI. By the way, I had no idea men’s lab coats came in colors; the guy who did my MRI was wearing a greenish colored one. Interesting…

Anyway, the results are in and I am the proud owner of TWO herniated discs! L3 – L4 and L4 – L5 are not looking good. I have an appt. with a back specialist on Jan. 26th – wow, could they make me wait any longer?

Vet Bills

Posted on December 15th, 2009 by admin

My wife used to work as a veterinary assistant and let me tell you, that was nice.  We got all sorts of discounts on vet care for our Boxer and 2 cats. The only downside was that she had to buy all these medical scrubs for work. It got expensive. I was looking through a catalog she had one time, they even have men’s lab coats – no more ‘unisex’ lab coats!

Now she’s working from home and taking care of our children but boy oh boy, the vet bills!
