I have been trying to work out and I can tell my body is not used to it because I am sore and exhausted beyond belief. I had every intention of sitting down and writing a post but the tiredness and soreness put me to sleep way to early. I have been wanting to get my body physically ready to join some sort of jogathon. I have alot of working out before I can get to that point but it is going to be one of my goals.
I have been thinking about ordering myself a nice mp3 player or Ipod. Listening to music does make the time go by quicker. I hate going to the gym and watching whatever they have on their t.vs. I find it crazy that the gym was playing the food cooking network. The last thing I want to have on my mind when I am working out is food.

Happy April Fool’s Day. If you’re a prankster, I hope you make the most of this one. I can’t play pranks, I give it away when I start laughing too much. But I do love watching someone pull off a good prank. So, in honor of that time honored tradition, I offer this prank from a zoo. My wife and I watched Jaws 2 last night, and it was interesting. I remember the movie from when I was a kid, but my wife hasn’t even seen the first one completely. Plus, my wife is a little on the jumpy side anyway, so when the shark was getting ready to make a surprise appearance on the screen, I grabbed her knee at precisely the right moment. The scream in the movie was nothing compared to my wife’s reaction.

This story reminded me of a bit done by the late George Carlin. He pondered that somewhere in the world is the worst doctor. There has to be, through process of elimination, sooner or later you’re going to come across the worst doctor. And the scary thing is that someone has an appointment to see him tomorrow.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one. The human fossil record has more holes than swiss cheese. We can’t seem to get from ape to man without a few detours along the way. One report I read a few weeks ago suggested early humans cross bred with what eventually evolved into modern apes. Now this new fossil is thought to be an ancestor of the current oldest human fossil, Lucy. To me, it’s an exercise in futility. We won’t know til we die whether we were created or we evolved, so my decision is to live the life in front of me and let the past be the past.
