Do we really need another excuse to be overweight? As if Taco Bell didn’t have enough ammunition to keep us obese, they’ve found a way to make a taco with Doritos. This is in the experimental stages, but I’m assuming the shell is made of one whole Dorito. Yikes, that just sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen.

I am fascinated by history and this marks the 99th anniversary of the Titanic‘s sinking. We’ve all seen the James Cameron film at least once, but I was fascinated when Bob Ballard found it in 1986. So, I was rooting around the internet and found out that someone had posted a menu from the first class dining room. They had a ten course meal that would make many today blush at the decadence of it.

I was fortunate enough to travel to Spain when I was in college and some friends who went with me went to a restaurant and ordered tapas. For those who don’t know what that is, tapas are portion controlled meals. Some experts believe they will be all the rage as far as cuisine this year.

If there’s anyone who knows the best places to find good food, it’s Adam Richman. The host of Man v. Food has been all over the country finding places to pig out and do food challenges. If you want to know some of his insight, he recently did a Q&A with Vidya Rao.

Halloween is Sunday, and watching what kids eat is as much a part of the day as costumes. Believe it or not, though, some Halloween candy is actually better than others from a health stand point. One of the less harmful is candy corn. I love candy corn, so I am really glad to hear that. Some people hate candy corn. That’s fine; more for me.

In my humble opinion, sandwiches are the perfect food for any meal. You can get all four basic food groups between two slices of another food group. Plus, you load the thing with other condiments, and you have a meal fit for any occasion. I think you could even serve sandwiches at a wedding and sufficiently feed people.

I’m sorry, I know that calories need to be maintained for a healthy life, but when I go to the ballpark, I’m not going to be frugal with my meal. These people suggest a 1/4 pound hot dog with two squirts of mustard. Add 1 tablespoon of onions for flavor. First off, two squirts of anything is not even worth it and 1 tablespoon is flavor for one bite when it comes to onions. Come on, we only get one shot on this world, let’s enjoy it.

I like this cereal myself as an adult. Cap’n Crunch has received the dubious honor of being the worst cereal for children. So, not only does it turn the roof of your mouth into a shredded, painful mess, it also provides little to no nutritional value whatsoever.

Yes, I cook and I do it well, I might add. I was looking for some new recipes and came across ‘Mommy’s Recipes Blog‘ and even though the title insinuates is only for moms, it’s not – it’s for anyone really.
I may have to subscribe to the Kevin Trudeau Weight Loss method if I make a habit of eating the meals found in that recipe blog!
