There’s an old joke that the Irish discovered the secret to a prosperous society, drank a couple of Guinness and forgot where they put it. I think the same can be said for humane animal treatment. We’ve seen ladies dumping cats into dumpsters and now puppies into a river. My heart aches for these poor animals.
